Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The greatest area of need is within self-contained specialty classes at the high school level, providing an excellent chance to utilize specialized skills and make a tangible difference in students' daily lives.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role
• Comfort with assisting students with personal care, including toileting as needed
• Demonstrated ability to manage and support student behaviors; high school applicants should have experience in this area
• Flexibility to work across various age groups, with the greatest high school need in mind
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities, working closely with teachers and school staff
• Commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for all students

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance to students throughout the school day, both in classroom instruction and personal care
• Support teachers in implementing classroom activities and behavior intervention plans
• Foster positive student engagement, assisting with both academic and social development
• Adapt to classroom needs across early childhood through high school, as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school standards of professionalism
