This contract opportunity, beginning August 6, 2026, and extending through May 19, 2027, is located near Benton, LA. In this position, you’ll play a vital part in bridging communication to help students fully participate in the classroom environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting
• Full fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Dedication to supporting students’ learning and inclusivity
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications are a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct ASL interpretation and support services to students during instructional time and throughout the school day
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers to promote equal curriculum access
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Adapt strategies to address individual student needs and learning styles
• Collaborate with educators and support staff on student progress and classroom activities
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school and district policies
