Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in either an inpatient or outpatient setting and formulate personalized treatment regimens
• Implement a variety of physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional capabilities
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide and educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge protocols, and corrective exercises for home care
• Document patient assessments, therapies, and progress in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements
• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and patient care rounds to ensure coherent and consistent care plans

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Any specialized certifications (e.g., neurological or geriatric) would be a bonus but are not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in the field is highly preferred
