Job Type Full-time Position Overview The Financial Advisor, Everyday Steward Division, is responsible for securing, managing and enhancing client relationships, integrating each client’s financial information to develop and implement customized financial plans, and leveraging the division’s client service model to deliver high‑quality financial planning and investment management services in a timely and accurate manner. Principal Accountabilities Demonstrate ability to create and seize business development opportunities while enhancing the company’s professional presence and image within the community and sphere of influence. Effectively convert qualified prospects into clients. Diagnose client needs accurately to develop and implement customized financial plans consistent with those needs. Actively integrate the financial planning philosophy and biblical principles that guide Blue Trust’s services. Conduct periodic reviews of clients’ financial information following the Everyday Steward service model to ensure client goals and objectives are met. Provide excellent service, support, and financial guidance based on the firm’s philosophy and biblical principles. Communicate and interface with the broader team to ensure adherence to applicable processes and procedures. Periodically review the client base, facilitating inter‑company transfers if needed, to serve clients in the division best suited to their needs. Manage an Everyday Steward client base, delivering new financial plans, investment‑management services to new clients, and ongoing investment‑management services and plan updates to existing clients. Adjust communication style as required to maintain productive interactions with team members and clients. Build organizational capacity by understanding and following Division workflows and processes to help meet profitability goals and margins. Continuously increase knowledge of the financial planning philosophy and biblical principles, integrating them into client counsel and services. Hold oneself accountable to meet Division Advisor metrics. Coordinate with the broader team to initiate client meetings, follow up, and respond to inquiries regarding actions taken to accomplish goals. Exhibit leadership by contributing to a healthy, productive, continually learning work culture. Actively integrate biblical principles in day‑to‑day behavior, demonstrating integrity and strong moral character. Approach work, interactions, and relationships consistently with the Company’s Core Values. Show computer literacy and knowledge of specialized office programs, including eMoney, Salesforce (CRM), Orion, and other company‑specific software. Maintain the highest compliance standards by adhering to Human Resources guidelines, Compliance policies, Everyday Steward workflows, professional designation standards, and industry regulatory standards to mitigate risk to the company. Requirements Successful completion of the Company’s Everyday Steward Advisor Test. Demonstrated in‑depth knowledge of relevant portions of both the Old and New Testaments, with scriptural references to money and finances, and the ability to apply and integrate this knowledge into all phases of client counsel. Demonstrated ability to simplify complex financial issues. Desire to serve clients and co‑workers with excellence. Aptitude and passion for learning new things with a strong work ethic. Education, Experience & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or a Master’s in the same fields preferred. Prior experience as a (Senior) Financial Planner or Financial Advisor preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Certified Financial Planner designation, CPA, or CFA is preferred. Financial Advisors are required to obtain or already hold the Certified Financial Planner and Kingdom Advisor designations within two years of assuming their position.
