Silicon Validation & Characterization Engineer- Singapore

Mobility: Open to qualified candidates currently based in India who are willing to relocate to Singapore; employment and work authorization subject to employer requirements.

1. Role Overview

Plan and execute post-silicon validation and electrical characterization of SoC, MCU, ASIC, analog, mixed-signal or power devices. The role connects design intent with bench and ATE results before qualification and production release.

Country-specific emphasis: Candidates with bench-to-ATE correlation and first-silicon debug are particularly relevant.

2. Key Responsibilities

Define post-silicon validation and characterization plans with design and product teams.

Perform bench and ATE characterization across voltage, temperature, process and operating corners.

Support first-silicon bring-up and functional/parametric debug.

Validate analog, digital, power and/or high-speed interface performance.

Automate measurements, data collection and analysis using scripting tools.

Correlate bench measurements with ATE results and simulation expectations.

Analyze failures and isolate silicon, board, package or test-program root causes.

Support qualification, margin analysis and production guard-band definition.

Create characterization reports, dashboards and release recommendations.

Collaborate with DFT, firmware, validation, test and product-engineering teams.

3. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.

2-10+ years of relevant semiconductor test, product, validation, hardware, manufacturing-test or application-engineering experience, depending on level.

Hands-on semiconductor laboratory, ATE and/or production-test experience appropriate to the role.

Strong analytical, debugging and cross-functional problem-solving capability.

English required.
