The RoleWe are seeking an experienced backend software engineer to join the Platform Integrations team!We are looking for a staff engineer to join us in building client onboarding solutions, to enable clients to bring their data on to our systems, allowing them to report, analyze, and understand their data, and work with all their data in one central place.We interface with product and client solutions teams to gain a deep understanding of the data and of client’s needs. We implement performant workflows and data systems that our users depend on for their day-to-day operations. We build with quality and user experience in mind to ensure internal teams experience low friction and high scalability in onboarding client’s financial data.The Platform Integration team is passionate about handling large volumes of data and in automation to reduce manual effort.We are looking for a staff engineer who is interested in technical challenges and is motivated to understand the problems facing our users today. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.The current range for this role is $150,000 - $234,000Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.What You’ll DoCollaborate multi-functionally with Product, Client Solution teams, and other engineering teams to deliver holistic client onboarding solutionsWrite well-designed and tested code to solve complex engineering problems Lead individual projects including ownership of areas such as technical solution and architecture design, timeline and estimation, coding and implementationCommunicate technical ideas and steer direction on projects from an engineering standpointMentor and guide other engineers on the teamWho You Are7+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably with Python and/or JavaA strong ownership mentality and strong communication skills.
