What You'll Be Doing

As a Member Service Representative, you'll serve as a trusted resource for members by providing personalized financial guidance and delivering exceptional service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Originating and processing consumer loans from application through closing.
• Opening new memberships and deposit accounts.
• Assisting members with account maintenance and servicing requests.
• Helping members understand available products and services and connecting them with solutions that meet their financial needs.
• Scheduling appointments when additional time or specialized assistance would best serve the member.
• Providing accurate information and guidance while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
• Maintaining complete and accurate documentation.
• Collaborating with teammates to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Contributing to branch and organizational goals through exceptional service and quality work.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Six months to one year of experience in banking, credit unions, financial services, or customer service.
• Experience opening deposit accounts and/or processing consumer loans is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Comfortable learning financial systems and technology platforms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
• Ability to accurately review financial documents and perform basic financial calculations.
