National Strategic Sourcing Manager

$145k - $165k

Full-time

The Bolton Group

I'm partnering with a well-established national homebuilder to identify a talented National Strategic Sourcing Manager for a high-impact corporate leadership opportunity.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys driving enterprise-wide sourcing strategy, building strong supplier partnerships, and influencing procurement decisions across multiple operating divisions.

What You'll Do:

Lead national and regional strategic sourcing initiatives
Negotiate and manage supplier agreements with manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractors
Develop sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supply chain performance
Partner with operational leaders to implement sourcing initiatives across multiple divisions
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement
Manage rebate programs, supplier incentives, and contract renewals
Serve as a key liaison between corporate leadership and field operations

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field
5–10 years of strategic sourcing experience
Required: Experience with a regional or national homebuilder
Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management experience
Ability to influence stakeholders across a multi-division organization

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:

Highly strategic, enterprise-level role (not transactional purchasing)
Significant visibility with senior leadership
Excellent long-term career advancement opportunities
Hybrid schedule (4 days in office / 1 remote)
Flexible work hours
Competitive compensation:

• $145K–$165K base salary

• 25% target bonus

• Outstanding benefits package

• Relocation assistance may be available

This position is based in the Greater Washington DC area . Candidates open to relocation are encouraged to apply.

If you have strategic sourcing experience within the homebuilding industry and are interested in learning more, send me a direct message or email your resume to Thun Lennert at View email address on click.appcast.io All inquiries will be handled with complete confidentiality.
