Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity offers steady weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours weekly), making it ideal for those passionate about fostering education in a school environment near Santa Ana, CA.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have passed the Parapro assessment, or hold an Associate degree or higher
- Certified paraprofessional status
- Experience assisting teachers or supporting students in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage positively with students and staff
- Reliable, organized, and committed to contributing to a collaborative team
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and classroom support under teacher supervision
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment to promote student learning
- Assist with individual and small group activities, adapting materials as needed
- Support students with special education needs, behavioral goals, or individualized plans
- Help implement lesson plans and instructional strategies
- Supervise students during classroom transitions, lunch, and recess
- Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers or staff
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and engaging learning atmosphere
