Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of the Parapro assessment, or possession of an Associate degree or higher
• Certification as a paraprofessional
• Experience working in a school, classroom, or educational support setting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with instructional support and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, adapting strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Prepare learning materials and help organize educational activities
• Monitor student engagement and progress, reporting relevant information to teachers or staff
• Support students with physical or behavioral needs as directed
• Contribute to a safe, respectful classroom culture
