This assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will extend through the end of the current school year. Expect a steady weekday schedule of 32 hours per week, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while gaining valuable experience in a vibrant educational setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within schools strongly preferred
• Ability to assist with instructional activities and classroom management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Experience supporting students with varied learning needs, including special education
• Patience, adaptability, and commitment to student success
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in providing individualized or small group instruction
• Support students with daily assignments and engagement in classroom activities
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere
• Monitor and encourage appropriate student behavior
• Provide academic and social assistance as directed by educators
• Carry out documentation or reporting tasks as needed
• Help with classroom organization and materials
