Job Description

This role focuses on installing commercial HVAC systems and ductwork on new construction projects across multiple counties. You will work closely with experienced team members to complete large-scale duct installations and unit setups in multi-family and commercial buildings. The position is contract-to-hire and offers the opportunity to grow your skills and advance with a company that values long-term development.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork and units, on new construction projects in multi-living and commercial facilities.
• Work side by side with experienced installers on job sites to complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Read and follow project plans, layouts, and instructions to ensure proper placement and installation of HVAC equipment and ductwork.
• Perform general construction and labor tasks related to HVAC installation, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing sheet metal and duct components.
• Assist with mechanical troubleshooting of HVAC systems and components as needed during installation.
• Handle and install sheet metal materials and ductwork using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Support commercial construction activities on site, coordinating HVAC installation with other trades when required.
• Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and site safety guidelines.
• Travel reliably to various project locations within Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin, and York counties using personal transportation.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, take direction, and grow into more advanced responsibilities over time.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Proven experience installing commercial ductwork and HVAC units on construction projects.
• Reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites across designated counties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Hands-on experience with ductwork installation and sheet metal work.
• Experience in commercial construction and general labor related to mechanical trades.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems.
• Experience working on commercial HVAC installation projects and refrigeration-related tasks.
• Ability to work safely and effectively on active construction sites, both indoors and outdoors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in both commercial HVAC installation and general construction environments.
• Familiarity with multi-living unit new construction projects.
• Comfort working in varying weather conditions on outdoor and indoor job sites.
• Strong willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and grow with the company.
• Ability to collaborate closely with field crews and follow hands-on leadership.
• Interest in developing skills that can transfer between commercial and residential mechanical divisions.

Work Environment

You will work primarily on new construction multi-living units and commercial projects located in Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin, and York counties. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work on active commercial construction sites, requiring comfort with changing weather conditions. The environment is field-based and hands-on, with collaboration among a tight-knit crew and direct support from operations leadership. Work centers on mechanical and HVAC installation, including ductwork and sheet metal, within a professional construction setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WILLOW STREET, PA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in WILLOW STREET,PA.
