INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN 3rd SHIFT

Job Description Job Description If you are an Injection Molding Process Technician with at least 2 years of successful experience as a 3rd-Shift Process Technician in plastic injection molding--this could be an excellent opportunity for you in the Cleveland, Ohio, metro area. The hours for this role are Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.   Candidates are to be currently working in plastic injection molding for consideration. Qualifications & Skills Required ~2-25 years of hands-on experience as a Process Technician in a manufacturing environment. ~ Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. ~ Must be PERMANENTLY ELIGIBLE to work in the United States without sponsorship of any kind as none is nor will be available. Responsibilities GENERAL PURPOSE: To start up, maintain, or improve processes of the injection molding machines and secondary equipment. These processes shall meet or exceed the Quality requirements set by the Quality Department and according to customer specifications. Authority to: 1.                  Start-up, shut down or alter a manufacturing process as required. 2.                  Not use equipment or perform any acts where safety is an issue. 3.                  Perform mold changes and set-up auxiliary equipment when required. 4.                  Perform tasks asked of them by their supervisor. 5.                  Perform minor maintenance as required by their supervisor.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING: 1.                  Interpret quality control findings and make adjustments as required. 2.                  Audit processes and make changes as needed. 3.                  Perform mold changes efficiently and safely at all times. 4.                  Maintain mold and fixture areas as needed. 5.                  Evaluate and investigate efficiency of injection molding machines and adjust as needed. 6.                  Complete all required documentation. 7.                  Maintain housekeeping requirements. 8.                  Perform other duties assigned to them by their supervisor.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a physically demanding and safety-sensitive position, which requires employees to move throughout the plant and to use ladders to climb onto presses. The individual will require some, if not all, of the following qualifications to support this position. 1.                  Employees must attend and pass tow motor safety program. 2.                  Must be familiar with molding machines and auxiliary equipment. 3.                  Must be familiar with the technology associated with injection molding. 4.                  Must have the ability to perform and complete mold changes. 5.                  Must have good work habits and the ability to reason. 6.                  Must have prior molding experience. 7.                  Employee must be able to lift equipment and materials on a frequent and recurring basis up to 50 pounds. 8.                  Employee must maintain an acceptable absentee level and be able to work overtime as required.   Employees must have adequate communication skills to read and understand instructions and safety procedures, to understand and comply with supervisory instructions, and to communicate problems or difficulties.     If you are ready to take advantage of this career potential, please apply today and simply provide your current resume and answer the attached Screening Questions for consideration!     Company Description Be an integral part of the team for a top producer of injection-molding solutions!
