Tomahawk Recertification Business Manager

Location: US-AZ-TUCSON-9022 ~ 9022 S Rita Rd ~ BLDG 9022 We are seeking a Business Manager to lead the Tomahawk Recertification finance team. The role involves managing recertification contracts for the rapidly growing Tomahawk program, supporting approximately 180 FTEs and $174M in annual material sales. The position requires exceptional communication, presentation, and professional skills, and offers financial guidance across diverse contract portfolios (FFP, CPIF, FPIF). What You Will Do Cultivate the monthly financial planning forecast and close process (Rplan). Manage the analysis and approval of the Quarterly Estimate‑at‑Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE). Provide financial guidance to Factory Operations Managers, SCM, and PMO leads. Communicate forecast commitments and risk opportunities to program leadership. Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance to EAC and BSEC commitments. Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis, funding planning, maintenance, and reporting using standard company tools. Review EAC inputs, presentations, and proposals for accuracy. Review and analyze EVM, Funding, and monthly status report Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs). Collaborate with team on Earned Value Management reporting and analysis. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or related field with 8 years finance/accounting experience, or Master’s degree with 5 years experience. Program controls experience with data analysis, reporting, and/or process improvement. EVMS certification or experience with EVMS tools. Hands‑on experience with SAP Business Systems / BW Toolset or similar. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint. U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications We Prefer Excellent guidance, mentoring, and training skills. Ability to meet critical deadlines. Experience in a production‑oriented business. Strong mathematics, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Capacity to work in a challenging environment while multitasking on several program issues. Effective communication at all organizational levels. Program FP&A forecasting (Sales, Bookings, Profit, Cash). Knowledge of DoD regulations (FAR/DFARS/TINA/CAS).
