Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Facility: Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Position: Activity Assistant Location: Boynton Beach, FL Shift: Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Salary: $16 per hour Job Description Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging programs that enhance the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our residents. Responsibilities include: Assisting the Activities Director in creating and posting a monthly calendar of activities in large print for residents and visitors. Ensuring a copy of the activity calendar is placed in each resident’s room. Interviewing residents and/or family members to identify activity preferences. Coordinating and assisting residents in getting to and from activities within the facility. Assisting in conducting scheduled programs that promote overall well-being. Documenting resident attendance and completing progress notes that reflect participation and response. Observing resident mood, behavior, and engagement levels, reporting changes or concerns to the Activities Director. Encouraging resident and family involvement in activity planning when possible. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required). Valid CNA license/certification (required). Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing home setting (preferred). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
