Filling & Packaging experience required. Hazardous Waste handling experience is required. Candidate must have good computer skills. Experience in using Lab Equipment to test products is required. Candidates must be able to be fitted for and wear respirators. 1 year Forklift driving experience is required.SUMMARY:Filling, packaging, and testing of finished product paint in accordance with demand from customer orders and generation of batches throughout plant systems. Following plant systems procedures, policies, and processes. Along with safety, health, and environment standards. ISO 9001/2000, ISO 14001, as well as all federal, state, local and corporate regulations. Using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, proper PPE, PMHE and various filling equipment to safely produce a quality finished product to achieve good customer service and business goals.RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate and maintain filling equipment and facilitiesFollow plant systems safety standards, procedures, policies and processesHandling of hazardous materialsManage hazardous waste according to site policy, area specific procedures and training.Perform basic maintenance repairs/troubleshooting, advanced as qualifiedFill and package a quality productPerform basic computer skills for various programs and equipmentUsing lab instruments to test quality of finished productsOwn 5S responsibilities for area of responsibility.Keep filling line training current to support filling floor production as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Education and/or Experience:Knowledge of function specific information systemsKnowledge of the physical requirements for the areaSkills to safely operate various pieces of mechanical equipment within site guidelinesSkills to do basic math equationsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and carry for a short distanceAbility to adapt to changing production demandsHigh School DiplomaComputer Skills:Microsoft Office Application capabilitiesOther Qualifications:Satisfactory background screening.Satisfactory drug screen.Medical clearance to wear a respirator.Satisfactory results in pre-employment tests.Must be able to work in the United States legally.Ability to drive PMHE.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hand(s) and arm(s), stoop, use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
