Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our Erie, PA team, supporting our Private Duty Nursing program serving pediatric patients . This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys educating others, building relationships with families, and helping caregivers grow in their clinical skills.

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Supervisor, you'll serve as a clinical resource, educator, and advocate for your patients, families, and nursing team.

• Educate and mentor caregivers: Provide clinical guidance, training, coaching, and ongoing support to help nurses build confidence and strengthen their skills.

• Conduct patient assessments: Complete required 60-day assessments and supervisory visits for an assigned caseload of approximately 20 patients.

• Support pediatric care: Partner with families and caregivers to promote safe, consistent, high-quality care in the home.

• Coordinate care: Collaborate with physicians, families, nurses, and internal teams to support patient needs and continuity of services.

• Promote quality and compliance: Ensure care meets clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and individualized patient needs.

• Support your team: Assist with onboarding, caregiver development, care coordination, and clinical problem-solving.

• Participate in on-call: Provide after-hours clinical support by phone during your assigned rotation.

This role combines clinical leadership, education, and periodic field visits without requiring you to provide routine, hands-on patient care throughout the day.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Nursing diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.

• Current RN license.

• Clinical experience consistent with applicable state and federal requirements.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience in pediatrics, private duty nursing, or home care.

• A background in clinical education, staff development, mentoring, or training.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

This position requires travel throughout the assigned service area and the ability to perform essential clinical duties, including walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting or carrying of up to 40 pounds. The role may involve working in a variety of home environments and exposure to blood, bodily fluids, infectious diseases, allergens, and other conditions associated with patient care.
