Dealership Payroll Clerk

In this position, you would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the payroll and accounting departments by assisting with payroll processing, accounting processes, and payroll-related data entry. This position is ideal for someone beginning a career in payroll or accounting within a Multi-Dealership Group environment. You will report directly to the Payroll Manager.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Previous clerical, administrative, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Previous dealership working experience, a PLUS!
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must have good work this including maintaining a neat work area.
• Excellent follow-through skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
• Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and valid CA driver's license.

Essential Duties, but not limited to:

• Assist with processing employee payroll accurately and timely.
• Assist with payroll data including hours worked, pay adjustments, commissions, and deductions.
• Assist with maintaining employee payroll files and records.
• Support payroll audits and verification of payroll information.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information.
• File payroll and accounting documents accurately.
• Support the payroll center with administrative duties as assigned.
• Understand and follow company policies, procedures, and payroll compliance requirements.

Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Type: Full-Time
Location: NO REMOTE work out of the Costa Mesa Dealership
