Many of them became customers before the investors had the opportunity to invest. The founding recruiter seat is open in New York City.The RoleThere is no recruiting infrastructure. No sourcing team. No coordinator. No ATS configured. No interview loops documented. This is a pure founding seat — just you, the founders, and the most technically demanding engineering hiring market in the world.The mandate is 4–5 engineering hires per month across New York and London, built entirely through outbound sourcing. The engineers you need to find are not on job boards. They are contributing to repositories on GitHub, publishing in AI research communities, engaging in technical conversations on Twitter/X and Reddit, and building in public in spaces that require genuine technical curiosity to navigate. You’ll be expected to find them there, engage them meaningfully, conduct initial technical screens that evaluate AI background and engineering depth, and close them on a company that most of the market hasn’t heard of yet.What you’ll own:End-to-end technical recruiting with outbound sourcing as the primary engine — LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Twitter/X, Reddit, and every creative channel that reaches the engineering talent you needInitial technical screens — evaluating language experience, AI relevance, and engineering fit before passing to the engineering teamFull recruiting infrastructure built from scratch: Ashby ATS, sourcing workflows, interview loops, scorecards, and candidate experience standardsNew York engineering headcount as the immediate priority, with London as a parallel trackReal-time calibration with founders and hiring managers in the office — you’re in the room when decisions happenA sustainable pace of 4–5 engineering hires per month as the company doubles againThe Company & CultureThis is a deeply technical team of engineers, AI researchers, and strategists founded by ex-Palantir leaders who have operated at the frontier of what enterprise software can actually do.
