Contract | 8-Week Assignment | 4x10-Hour Evening Shifts (10:30 AM – 9:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center PACU setting following ASPAN standards
• Care for a diverse patient population including pediatric (1 year and older), adult, and geriatric patients
• Support same-day surgery patients, inpatient admissions, and observation patients across a broad range of surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, thoracic, bariatric, and trauma, among others
• Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU or relevant RN experience
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pediatric surgical patients (1 year and older)
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience in a high-volume or trauma-level surgical environment
