Shifts: Day, Evening, and Night Shifts Available

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an immediate-start contract opportunity in Brenham, TX.

The LVN/LPN will provide nursing care in a residential healthcare setting serving approximately 260 residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We are looking for a compassionate, dependable nurse committed to providing quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and support to residents in a residential healthcare setting.
Assist with medical and habilitative needs.
Support residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes in health status appropriately.
Follow established care plans, nursing protocols, and facility procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Promote resident safety, dignity, and well-being.

Requirements

Active Texas LVN/LPN license.
Previous nursing experience required.
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Reliable and dependable, with the ability to commit to a full-time contract assignment.
