MRI Patient Services Receptionist

We are looking for a full‑time MRI Patient Services Receptionist to join our team! Since 1980 Barrington Orthopedic Specialists' specialty-trained experts have remained the premier orthopedic providers of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients' bone, joint and injuries and conditions. Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is looking for energetic, personable, motivated individuals that are team oriented with excellent customer service skills. Job Duties Contact patients regarding their orders/insurance benefits and inquire about scheduling Monitor MRI buckets, orders, and incoming documents in electronic health record Register new patients Schedule appointments Greet patients and visitors to the practice Review appointment requirements with patient so that they understand what will be expected at time of appointment Scan/fax documents and test results into electronic health record when applicable Review screening forms prior to exam for MRI safety Keep patient areas clean and professional Assist MRI Techs as needed Scheduled Hours Monday through Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm Requirements Customer Service Strong Computer Background Electronic Medical Records (EHR) Benefits Offered 401(k) Retirement Plan 401(k) Employer Matching Health Insurance Vision Insurance Health Savings Account with Employer Contributions Flexible Spending Account Basic Life Insurance (company paid) Voluntary Life Insurance Long Term Disability (company paid) Voluntary Short-Term Disability Voluntary Critical Illness Benefit Voluntary Accidental Benefit Voluntary Hospital Indemnity Benefit Employee Assistance Program Pet Insurance Paid Time Off Salary Range $19.00 - $22.00 depending on experience.
