Host/Hostess

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for greeting and seating Residents and guests in a professional manner. Maintain a cheerful and happy attitude at all times, while managing traffic flow and balancing the serving responsibilities among the food servers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Greeting and seating Residents and guests.

• Function as the Resident services contact person during meal periods.

• Responsible for processing guest meal charges.

• Assist with orientation and training of new Dining Room personnel.

• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.

• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation and hygiene.

• Attend all in-services as required.


• Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to follow instructions with a positive attitude

• Must have experience in fine dining
