West Coast Sales Manager Construction Equipment My industry leading client in the construction equipment business deals with breakers and attachments, skid steers, excavators and backhoes. Territory Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and Western Canada. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement structured plans for scheduling sales calls and visits. Educate, train and promote company products and programs. Maintain high professionalism, integrity, tact, courtesy and partnership with dealers and internal personnel. Work with dealers to identify future needs based on market conditions and potential. Develop and maximize sales of construction attachments within the territory. Lead the recruitment of new dealers and improve relationships and volume with current dealers and rental locations. Understand company strategies and goals and ensure your team embraces them. Qualifications BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. Minimum 3–5 years proven experience in construction equipment sales. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Self‑starter, highly motivated individual. Excellent sales and interpersonal skills. Willingness and ability to learn and seek development activities. Ability to translate specific goals into action and follow through to achieve them. Availability for weekly travel with a strategically planned schedule within the territory (≈80%). Strong desire to assist dealers and ability to engage them. Team player, trust, credibility and consensus builder. Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills; able to express oneself clearly.
