Financial Analyst / FP&A Specialist

Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst / FP&A Specialist to support budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and program spending management for a globally recognized nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

• Track program budgets and expenditures, including restricted funds.

• Assist with monthly close activities, journal entries, reclasses, and variance analysis.

• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and budget updates.

• Support forecasting and annual budget planning.

• Train and support budget owners on financial systems and coding.

• Respond to financial and budget-related inquiries.

• Variance Analysis

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas)

• GAAP Accounting Knowledge

• ERP/Financial Systems Experience

• Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3-5 years of accounting, finance, or FP&A experience.

• Experience with ERP systems; Workday Financials preferred.

• Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus.
