Accountant, General Ledger | Fontainebleau Las Vegas The Tone: This is a full-time role at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a large-scale, luxury resort located in Las Vegas, NV. This position is vital for ensuring the daily accuracy of accounting entries, preparing compliant financial statements, and maintaining precise balance sheet reconciliations within the organization. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: In-person, Las Vegas, NV Pay: $59000–$69000 yearly Mission: This person ensures accurate daily accounting entries, prepares financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and completes balance sheet reconciliations. Tech Stack: Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) What You’ll Actually Do Financial Reporting: Generate accurate and timely monthly financial statements and support the month-end close process. Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries and maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers. Package Preparation: Prepare financial report packages required for internal and external stakeholders. Documentation: Maintain organized and accounted for proper documentation and audit evidence within the department. Reconciliations: Prepare and complete monthly account reconciliations. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Career level: Early-Career. Experience: Six (6) months prior experience in an accounting position, preferably for a large-scale, luxury resort. Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze data to draw logical conclusions, ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
