Diesel Mechanic

Primary Purpose: Focuses on maintaining and repairing vehicles within a fleet. Their primary purpose is to ensure the operational readiness, safety and reliability of the fleet by conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs. Major Duties & Responsibilities: Performs basic inspections and preventative maintenance. Moves equipment as needed. Performs basic repairs and intermediate maintenance under supervision. Shop clean-up and organization. Utilizes the Fleet Maintenance software system program. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 0 - 3 years’ relevant work experience. Basic computer competency.
