Marketing Communications Coordinator

The Marketing Row is seeking a part-time Communications & Marketing Coordinator to support a busy portfolio of municipal, nonprofit, cultural and business clients. With decades of experience, the team navigates the ever-evolving media and public relations landscape to craft tailored solutions. Working directly with TMR's Communications Manager, this detail-oriented person will help move client work from assignment through completion while keeping projects organized, producing and scheduling content, supporting communications initiatives, and ensuring deadlines and details don't fall through the cracks. Responsibilities include: Drafting, preparing, and scheduling social media content Managing social calendars and ensuring content is scheduled in advance Supporting client communications, campaigns, events, and media initiatives Coordinating graphics, copy, links, tags, and other content elements Proofreading and quality-checking work before publication Tracking assignments, deadlines, and outstanding deliverables Conducting research and gathering information for client projects Assisting with press releases, media materials, newsletters, and other communications Communicating proactively about project status, questions, or potential delays Taking ownership of assigned work through completion We're looking for someone who is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple clients and deadlines, a strong writer and communicator, and able to work independently without requiring constant follow-up. Experience: Ideally 2–4 years of professional communications, marketing, public relations, social media or related experience. We're looking for someone who already understands how to work in a professional client environment but is still interested in growing their skills and responsibilities. Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week to start. This is a hybrid position with regular in-person time twice a week at TMR's East Haven office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
