Occasionally we have openings for substitute staff for departments.

Are you looking for an engaging, physical job, but can't commit to a regular weekly schedule? This position provides a variable hour schedule with 4-40 hours per week, depending on the department. Our Substitute Staff are trained to work in one department with plenty of shifts to sign up for. Ideal candidates have flexible availability including evening and weekends. The following departments are hiring.

BULK/CHEESE

Love great food, minimizing packaging and flexible working hours? Join our Bulk & Cheese team and help keep one of the Co-op's most unique departments looking its best. As a Bulk & Cheese Department Sub, you'll work alongside a supportive team to ensure our bulk bins, cheese cases, and coolers are clean, organized, and well-stocked for shoppers. This is a hands-on position that involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical work, attention to detail, and helping create an exceptional shopping experience for our community.

GROCERY

Looking for flexible hours while helping your community Co-op? Join our Grocery team and help keep one of the Co-op's largest departments stocked and ready for shoppers. As a Grocery Department Sub, you'll work with frozen, refrigerated, and packaged grocery products to ensure shelves and coolers are well-stocked, organized, and looking their best. This hands-on retail position requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
