About the Role
The Company is seeking a Hospice Executive Director to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of its hospice care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for making business decisions that prioritize the well-being of both the patients and the employees. This role involves overseeing a team, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluations, to ensure that the group's productivity aligns with the operational goals. The Executive Director will also be involved in operational planning, budgeting, and compliance, and must be adept at evaluating and implementing changes to enhance the quality of care. Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of leadership experience in healthcare, with a preference for those with a background in hospice care. Essential qualifications include a strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to hospice care, outstanding leadership and managerial skills, and a passion for working with older adults. The role requires a commitment to ethical business and clinical practices, as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse team and ensure the comfort and needs of patients are met.
