As a Float Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in maintaining continuity of care across multiple sites. Your flexibility and expertise ensure patients receive timely, accurate serviceeven when unexpected staffing needs arise.

What You'll Do

• Travel to multiple locations to provide coverage for call-outs, vacations, and leaves of absence
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric
• Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient's presence
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and required records
• Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients across all assigned sites

What We're Looking For

A current, up-to-date resume High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel frequently, including last-minute schedule changes Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to meet compliance requirements
