Director of Treasury Management Sales

Grade 15 Position Purpose and Objectives The Director of Treasury Management Sales is a high‑impact leadership and production role designed for a strategic "player‑coach." The position is responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth and expanding the bank’s commercial deposit footprint by balancing elite sales coaching with direct business development. The Director leads and mentors a team of Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) and Assistant Treasury Management Officers (ATMOs), manages portfolios, oversees performance, and develops strategic sales initiatives to maximize team production. Qualifications and Requirements Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies required. Minimum of 8 years Treasury Management sales experience required. Minimum of 8 years management experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is preferred. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Develop independent channels to prospect for new Treasury Management clients and maintain a pipeline of potential targets. Manage all elements of the Treasury Management sales cycle, including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis, and closing. Develop and manage a sales team to ensure service behaviors align with the bank’s customer experience strategy. Design customer‑centric treasury management solutions and provide consultative expertise on the liquidity management cycle. Implement Treasury Management sales strategies, practices, and procedures for the market. Retain and grow customer portfolio through service review, regular calling, and industry training. Oversee and approve proposals for junior officers. Maintain an ongoing sales training program focused on a consultative approach and trusted advisor model. Collaborate with the Operations team on new product training and development of new products and services. Ensure alignment of TM Officers with banking centers and other bank departments. Generate revenue from Treasury Management products and target cross‑sell opportunities for existing clients. Develop an effective network of communication within TM Officers and key working units to share knowledge and understanding of business activities. Expanding existing business and provide feedback to product managers. Support the bank’s relationship‑banking culture through ongoing customer contact, quality service, and superior product knowledge. Assist in achieving departmental goals and present appropriate credits for approval following Republic’s credit culture. Supervisor Responsibilities Understand and incorporate compliance responsibilities and requirements into business processes, perform monitoring, and provide appropriate training. Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank’s values and culture, creating trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication. Willingly perform other duties and projects as assigned. Physical Requirements The position requires regular sitting, use of hands, speaking, walking, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds. Vision and hearing requirements are near‑vision and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Other Requirements Travel between Republic Banking facilities, including occasional out‑of‑town travel. Flexible work schedule may include evenings, weekends, and/or overtime. Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
