Yard Staff - Government Services

The Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff. * Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) inventory. * Performs joint physical inventories at government locations. * Uses systems to track and process inventory. * Drives/operates heavy and light equipment. * Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary. * Performs basic maintenance and light repairs on equipment. * Merchandises and inspects items for sale. * Boosts equipment. * Performs basic demilitarization and deidentification. * Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment. * Assist in coordinating logistics. * Interacts with customers. * Travels to other locations as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Good customer service to both internal and external customers. * High school diploma or GED required * Travel up to 80% may be required * Lift 80 pounds regularly
