Program Coordinator

Our nonprofit client in Washington, DC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Coordinator to support organizational initiatives while providing high-level administrative support to senior leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing project coordination, executive support, communications, grants administration, and event planning in a mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders. Responsibilities Provide administrative and executive support, including calendar management, scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting preparation. Coordinate meetings, events, and special projects, ensuring timelines, logistics, and deliverables stay on track. Support organizational programs through project tracking, research, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination. Assist with marketing and communications efforts, including newsletters, email campaigns, website updates, social media content, and promotional materials. Support grant administration by tracking deadlines, maintaining records, gathering documentation, and assisting with reporting requirements. Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and other organizational materials. Maintain databases, records, and project files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Serve as a point of contact for internal staff, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Provide general office and operational support while assisting with additional projects as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in program coordination, project coordination, executive support, nonprofit administration, or a related field. Experience supporting senior‑level executives or leadership teams strongly preferred. Exposure to grants management, fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit operations is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with CRM, donor management, project management, or marketing platforms is a plus. Professional, proactive, and service‑oriented approach with strong attention to detail. Why Apply?
