CareCore at Lakeridge is seeking an organized, dependable, and proactive Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! This role is responsible for coordinating nursing schedules for our nurses and STNAs, while also managing resident transportation and outside medical appointments.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can stay organized in a fast-paced long-term care environment and adjust quickly when scheduling needs change.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain schedules for nurses and STNAs

• Coordinate coverage for call-offs, vacations, and open shifts

• Communicate scheduling changes with nursing staff and leadership

• Help maintain appropriate staffing levels based on facility needs

• Schedule and coordinate resident medical appointments

• Arrange resident transportation to and from appointments

• Drive the company vehicle for resident transportation as needed

• Maintain accurate scheduling and transportation records

• Communicate with residents, families, nursing staff, and outside providers regarding appointments and transportation

• Assist with other administrative and scheduling duties as needed

Requirements

• Previous scheduling experience preferred

• STNA Certification Preferred

• Long-term care or healthcare experience strongly preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling last-minute changes

• Must be reliable and able to manage multiple priorities

• Must be at least 25 years old to drive the company vehicle

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
