Staff Accountant (Hybrid – North Phoenix)

Location: North Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 base salary

Our client, a growing and collaborative organization based in North Phoenix, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. What You’ll Do

• Support the month-end close process , including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform variance analysis and ensure accuracy across financial reporting
• Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects
• Partner cross-functionally to improve accounting workflows and reporting accuracy
• Help strengthen internal controls, procedures, and documentation
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment with evolving priorities

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry)
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
