We provide innovative solutions for high-risk and complex property, casualty, and professional accounts that are not easily covered in the standard market.We are hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees in our Underwriting divisions. This role partners closely with management to drive employee engagement, performance, and talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities while maintaining high quality service.ResponsibilitiesPerform Human Resources Business Partner duties for assigned Underwriting divisions providing consultative and tactical HR support.Coach and advise managers on a wide range of workforce matters, including employee engagement, performance management, compensation, and talent development.Partner with leaders to address employee relations issues, assess risk, and recommend appropriate solutions.Apply broad knowledge of human resource functions to support managers and employees across areas such as benefits, compensation, and recruiting.Proactively identify opportunities to enhance HR programs, policies, and practices to support business needs.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of Human Resource Manager or HR Business Partner experience.Proven knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance.Experience working across one or more HR functional areas, including benefits, compensation, and/or recruiting.Demonstrated ability to coach and influence managers and employees at various levels.Strong oral and written communication skills.Solutions-oriented mindset with initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is required.PHR or SHRM-CP Certification is preferred.Why You'll Love Working at KinsaleCompetitive Pay & Bonus Opportunities – Rewarding performance and initiative.Comprehensive Benefits – Health, dental, and vision insurance with up to $3,600 (individual) or $7,000 (family) in HSA contributions per year.Work-Life Balance – Generous paid time off including 22 days of PTO and 10 paid company holidays.Career Growth – Clear promotion paths, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.Retirement & Security – Up to 6% matching 401(k) contributions on base salary and bonus, standard life insurance, and disability coverage.Continuous Learning – Annual $3,000 reimbursement for educational training and certifications.Integrity & ResponsibilityKinsale values strong financial responsibility.
