Low Voltage Project Manager

Salary Range : $80-110,000 (negotiable based on experience) Summary Our client is seeking experienced Low Voltage Project Managers to support structured cabling projects throughout the Raleigh‑Durham market. This position will manage structured cabling projects ranging from approximately $50,000 to $400,000, with occasional projects exceeding $1 million. Experience managing larger commercial low voltage projects is highly preferred. Responsibilities Develop and maintain project plans including scope of work, schedules, labor requirements, and project budgets. Manage structured cabling projects from kickoff through closeout while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget. Prepare bids, estimates, and budgets for low voltage and telecommunications infrastructure projects. Coordinate and schedule field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors. Plan, order, and manage project materials and equipment. Track project costs, labor hours, and material usage throughout each project. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing project updates and resolving issues. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address field issues, and ensure quality standards are met. Review completed installations for compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards. Manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, progress reports, and closeout packages. Coordinate with general contractors, customers, and other trades to maintain project schedules. Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize delays. Provide technical support and guidance to field teams as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of Project Management experience managing structured cabling or low voltage installation projects. Experience managing project budgets ranging from $50K-$400K (experience with larger projects up to $1M+ is a plus). Strong understanding of structured cabling systems including CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic infrastructure, pathway systems, and telecommunications rooms. Experience managing field crews, subcontractors, and multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office applications. Security or AV project management experience is a plus. RCDD certification is preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Verigent
