JIT Manager

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: JIT MANAGER IN SACRAMENTO, CA

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a JIT Manager to oversee day-to-day shipping and receiving operations at a retail grocery distribution center in Sacramento, CA. This individual will supervise warehouse teams, maintain safety and productivity standards, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, and help ensure customer service and operational goals are met. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced distribution environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $38.48/hour, paid weekly Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Full time schedule available Located in Sacramento, CA (Salary range based on experience) Duties and Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day shipping and receiving operations Direct teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals Schedule staffing across departments and control overtime and labor costs Conduct daily startup and shift turnover meetings Communicate daily volumes, expectations, safety topics, and outstanding work Ensure products are received, stored, and put away properly Coordinate with yard personnel and transportation to support outbound shipments Communicate load status and potential delays to transportation Maintain clean, organized, and safe dock, warehouse, and office areas Ensure all safety policies and required training are followed Monitor receiving, storage, and shipping accuracy and efficiency Partner with Customer Service and Inventory Control to resolve operational and inventory issues Monitor warehouse associates and provide coaching and performance feedback Participate in safety meetings and address workplace hazards Review timesheets and payroll reports for assigned employees Develop lead associates and direct reports to support their growth Monitor operational metrics including fill rates, on-time shipments, cost per case, and OSHA recordable injuries Implement company policies, procedures, and process improvements Perform other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications Previous warehouse or distribution center supervisory/management experience Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, storage, and warehouse operations Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to schedule and direct a diverse warehouse workforce Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience monitoring productivity, quality, safety, and labor performance Ability to work a flexible schedule supporting a 7-day operation Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to work effectively with Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, and Inventory Control teams Accurate Personnel provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
