Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting ECG rhythms and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in required orientation assessments and complete facility modules as assigned
• Work at least every other holiday as required by scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the ICU/SICU specialty; travel experience may be considered
• Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of SICU experience within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or SICU setting
• Familiarity with completing pre-start and annual facility compliance modules
