Job Description
Our client is seeking a strong Production Support / Systems Lead Azure/.NET to support mission-critical enterprise applications in a 24x7 production support environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, .NET/C#, production support, troubleshooting, and ITIL-based support processes.
This is a customer-facing role requiring regular interaction with clients, business users, and technical stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for production issue triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident resolution, and minor configuration/code fixes to ensure continuous application availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2 production support for Azure-based enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot Azure services including Function Apps, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, Application Insights, Synapse, and Cosmos DB.
- Manage Service Bus Dead Letter Queues (DLQs), perform message replay, and troubleshoot message delivery issues.
- Troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipeline issues, rerun failed deployments, and support CI/CD pipeline health.
- Troubleshoot Power BI Gateway and configuration/connectivity issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA), document findings, and implement permanent fixes.
- Write queries for Cosmos DB and Synapse Data Warehouse to troubleshoot application and data issues.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures using KSQL.
- Perform minor configuration and code changes using .NET/C# within established guidelines.
- Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
- Use ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for incident tracking and documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, business users, developers, and onshore/offshore teams to resolve production issues.
- Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders during critical incidents.
- Participate in a 24x7 support model and work assigned shifts as required.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure-based applications.
- Experience with Azure Function Apps, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, Application Insights, Synapse, and Cosmos DB.
- Strong knowledge of .NET/C# and ability to make minor application fixes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Experience supporting mission-critical applications in a 24x7 production environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Cosmos DB and Synapse Data Warehouse queries.
- Knowledge of KSQL and Power BI Gateway troubleshooting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer-facing and stakeholder-management experience.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and production support methodologies.
- Energy industry experience is a strong plus.
