GeneralDetailed review of prepare work product quality (all aspects below)Lead or support assigned tasks, ensuring technical accuracy of all work productAssist Global Tax leadership in all aspects of Global Tax department strategyAny other task or challenge as assigned or requiredPrepare or Review Tax Planning/Research/Analysis and Coordination, including but not limited to:Monitor relevant legislative and accounting developments and advise colleaguesTax research, planning, financial analysis and modeling of complex issues such as affecting effective tax rate, transaction execution, choice of entity, etc.Prepare and/or present written memos, analyses or presentations as requiredPropose or establish/maintain tax policies and proceduresOversee execution against Tax Calendars for compliance and accounting tasksIdentify potential improvements to current departmental processesGlobal tax liaison role with designated affiliatesAssist in the integration of newly acquired or formed entitiesEstablish and maintain open communication lines within and beyond Global TaxPrepare or Review Corporate Tax Compliance including but not limited to:Federal and State tax returns and filings (by Tax dept)Complex or nonrecurring tax issues (R&D credit, S/199A, Form 3115, etc.)Tax Defense and Controversy (Notices, Assessments, Audits)Dividend calculations and Shareholder mattersEstimated tax paymentsMonthly depreciationPrepare or Review Accounting and Financial Reporting:Tax Provision, including Schedule M items, FIN 48 and other ASC 740 topicsFinancial Statement reporting, consolidation, and footnotesTax account reconciliationsDomestic role – generally prepare (US); Global role – generally review and oversight (non-US)Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Accounting SystemsGenerally, 4 or more years corporate tax accounting experienceExtensive tax experience with US Federal, states, foreign jurisdictions, tax researchExperience reviewing and approving work product of staff personnelAttention to detail, self-starter, strong work ethicAbility to problem solve, multi-task and manage/prioritize multiple projectsExperience with BNA tax research software or equivalentStrong communication, analytical, and technical writing skillsExperience with – ERPs, Consolidation Systems and Data Analytics toolsExperience with OneStream a plusExperience with CCH Axcess tax preparation software or equivalentExperience preparing and reviewing corporate income tax provision calculationsExperience preparing and reviewing corporate federal and state income tax returnsCPA license and/or Master’s Degree in Tax or Business Administration a plusVictaulic is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
