Speech Therapist Assistant in Luling, TX

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. In this role, you will deliver impactful therapy services to a diverse K-12th grade caseload. Working onsite alongside a collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll help ensure each student receives high-quality care tailored to their unique needs.


Key Qualifications:

• Active SLPA licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Texas
• Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is preferred
• Solid understanding of therapeutic techniques and documentation processes
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Adaptable and enthusiastic about working with a variety of age groups and abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to students as directed by the supervising SLP, following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and service delivery
• Collaborate closely with the supervising SLP and school staff to support student success
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed throughout the school year
• Assist with assessments, data collection, and implementing intervention plans
