Purchasing Assistant

Pay: $45,000–$55,000 annually (based on experience) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Procurement Specialist for an onsite opportunity. This role offers hands‑on experience, career growth, and the chance to support a fast‑paced operations team. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with operations, accounting, and other internal departments to support purchasing and inventory activities. Coordinate the creation, tracking, and maintenance of purchase orders throughout the procurement process. Record inventory receipts and ensure product information is accurately entered into internal systems. Research inventory discrepancies and assist with resolving data inconsistencies. Review invoices, receiving documentation, and purchasing records to verify accuracy and address any issues. Maintain organized procurement files and ensure purchasing documentation remains current and accurate. Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and manage procurement and inventory data. Qualifications: 1–3+ years of experience in supply chain or inventory management. Recent graduates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field are encouraged to apply. Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Self‑motivated with a desire to learn and grow within the organization.
