Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care for a travel assignment in San Marcos, TX. This role requires critical care and PreOp experience in a bustling perioperative environment. Applicants should be well-versed with EPIC and must possess comprehensive nursing skills to handle a variety of patient types.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administers medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and caregivers
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates duties to other care providers

Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• RN License in state of TX or compact
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care, PreOp, and EPIC
