Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role is based near Independence, MO, where you’ll collaborate with educators and other specialists to create supportive learning environments for students of varying abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTR or COTA)
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Knowledge of educational documentation and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional needs and eligibility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with school teams
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students
• Maintain organized and compliant documentation of all services and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning and goal-setting
• Support classroom adaptations and strategies for improved student participation
• Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress
