What you get to do: Greet guests and provide park information to our visitors Perform guest check-in/check-out functions Perform guest bag checks Provide informational tours for small groups of up to 12 guests Provide transportation to and from SeaWorld for guests in company vehicle Size male/female guests to ensure proper fitting of swim gear Prepare swim bags for children and adult guests Maintaining Private Cabanas in both service and cleanliness Assist with VIP coordination/special events Quickly resolve guest challenges by providing exceptional guest service Distribute available lockers to our guests, while maintaining cleanliness of locker facilities Maintain cleanliness of all park areas including trash removal and sweeping Conduct guest surveys Maintain a safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned What it takes to succeed: Previous experience in a customer service role A working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills Excellent guest service skills Excellent cash handling skills Able to stand for long periods of time Able to walk in sand Able to lift 40 pounds Able to push/pull 50 pounds Able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes Available to work 3 full days per week, including at least 1 weekend full day Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred Experience in Discovery Cove Operations department preferred Bilingual preferred (Portuguese a plus) The perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as: FREE park admission Discounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friends Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. Scholarship opportunities Exclusive employee events and giveaways EEO Employer: SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
