Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and create tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Professionals: Partner closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, medical staff, and nurses to deliver holistic, comprehensive care
  • Empower Patients and Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy methods to support continuous development at home
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor and assess clinical outcomes, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure patients remain on track
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Licensing and Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory
