Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Medical-Surgical Nurse - Windsor, Vermont. This position involves coordinating total nursing care for patients on a Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor, including working as a backup Charge Nurse. The role requires participation in patient and family teaching, adherence to standards for professional nursing practice, and flexibility to float between units as needed. The assignment begins on August 3, 2026, for a minimum of 36 hours per week during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
• Experience: Two (2) years of recent Medical Surgical Rehabilitation experience required.
• Licenses: Valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse License or Compact License required.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in Medical Surgical Nursing pertinent to position, current within the past year, with skills checklist required.
• Supervision: Supervisory signed reference from within past two years required.
• Skills: Ability to float to other units within scope of practice as needed.
• Additional information: Candidate must have their own vehicle, as public transportation is unavailable in this small community. Traveler's perm address must be included in profile. All scheduling requests, including RTO, must be made at the time of submission; requests after offer may rescind the appointment. No more than five days of RTO will be accepted.
• Note: This is a med-surg position with no consideration for block scheduling. The facility enforces a three-strike rule for call-offs.
