Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at least every other holiday as scheduled
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, achieving acceptable scores within a maximum of two attempts
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules as applicable throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location (combined experience across locations is also considered)
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated adaptability to rotating shift schedules
